Pupils in Year 8 will be set ICT: Computer Studies homework once a week. They will be expected to spend about 45 minutes working on these activities, which are also listed below. Due to timetabling and holidays on certain dates it is possible that your child will not have all of these activities set for them, or the date of the homework may vary slightly from that listed below, the activities are listed here mainly as an aide memoire for any pupil who does not have their homework written down in their planner in full. For project based homework your child should have created a plan listing the activity which will be their homework focus and have emailed this to themselves which should help you support your child's learning. All homeworks are expected to be completed for the next lesson after which they were set.
Should there be an issue with Internet use or home access for these activities then pupils are encouraged to attend ICT Homework club on Thursday between 12:55 and 13:25 in ICT1. If you have any further queries please contact your child's Computer Studies teacher or Miss Sugg, Leader of ICTAC
